JOB REF:FER400901

  • Do you have a Trades background, or experience supporting construction, maintenance and/or engineering teams?
  • Drive end to end project planning and scheduling, contract and document control.
  • Join a close knit team, and a company that is safety focused and committed to your development.
  • 24 month fixed term, full time role based in Kwinana with onsite parking - open to flexible working arrangements.

Agriculture has come a long way over the past 100 years, and CSBP Fertilisers has been there every step of the way. Part of Wesfarmers Chemicals, Energy & Fertilisers, we proudly display our Western Australian roots, yet firmly focus on the future.

We have seen a lot of change over the years, but the one constant has been our people and their dedication to continual discovery and collaboration. Our mission is to build a talented and engaged workforce through fostering an environment where diverse thinking, skills and experiences are welcomed.

About the role

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Project Planner to join our Fertilisers Corrosion Control Program (FCCP) team in Kwinana. You will play an essential part in the success of our high-value, two year programme of works related to mechanical installation, equipment guarding remediation, demolition and corrosion control.

In this newly created role, you support project scoping and execution and liaise with the broader Fertilisers operational and project teams, our Supply team, and external contractors to arrange materials and equipment, and access to plants and depots in Kwinana and ‘country works’ locations (Geraldton, Bunbury, Albany, Esperance, Wagin and Merredin).

Your will also:

  • Coordinate planning and maintain program status with regards to progress, time, cost and contractual issues including project scope, safety, environmental, quality, budgetary and engineering requirements and engage stakeholders in regular communication to ensure requirements are met.
  • Maintain and update project documentation including corrosion audit and inspection records as required, budgets, and reporting.
  • Inspect and verify that completed completed work aligns with the contract, CSBP Engineering standards and statutory requirements.
  • Champion a safety culture in line with our Safe Person, Safe Process and Safe Place approach.

This role is based in Kwinana, and a 24 month fixed term full time position with possibility of extension. Travel to country works locations, including stays of up to a few days, will be required from time to time according to project work schedules.

Do you have the following skills and experience?

  • Significant experience in planning, scheduling, budget and document control in a similar environment.
  • Familiarity with project and maintenance planning software such as Primavera P6 and MS Project.
  • Experience in contractor engagement and contractor management processes.
  • Formal Trade Qualifications such as Mechanical Fitter or Boilermaker will be highly regarded.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and standards will be highly regarded
  • Exposure to corrosion control, protective coatings and mechanical installation would be advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work unsupervised.

At CSBP we offer you the chance to create the career you want. We seek people who are excited by the challenges of our business and the variety this role offers. In return, we offer the recognition you deserve for making a real impact every day.

We welcome people with different skills, and life experiences and encourage individuals from diverse backgrounds to apply.

We pride ourselves on developing and supporting people and recognise the importance of flexibility. When you apply, please let us know if you are seeking a flexible employment arrangement.
