Contract term: 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander candidates are strongly encouraged to apply. Priority consideration will be given to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander candidates.

As the largest peak Indigenous organisation in Australia, the Northern Land Council (NLC) provides a family-friendly and flexible team environment with attractive remuneration packages, five weeks annual leave, district allowance, super, salary sacrifice, airfares and other entitlements.

The essential role of the NLC is to give Aboriginal people a strong voice and to ensure their property rights are protected and enabled. After consulting widely with the Traditional Owners of the region, NLC has identified significant opportunity to reform administrative systems for improved efficiency and effectiveness in the management of land use agreements and the resulting benefits for our constituents.
