About the Role
You will be required to perform a variety of office duties including sales and customer service support, general admin tasks and assistance with implementing marketing campaigns.

This role is also responsible for scheduling bookings and liaising with field staff, dealing with customer complaints and generally being the face/ voice of Sistability while communicating with clients and partners over the phone, via email and across social media.

We are currently looking for a part-time employee to work 15 - 25 hours per week. 

About You

  • Previous experience working in a similar role
  • You are enthusiastic and have the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
  • You enjoy dealing with customers, and you have great attention to detail.
  • Being customer-service focused, you are energetic, reliable, organised and accurate.
  • Computer literacy is a must!
  • Understanding of the NDIS is desirable but not required

About the Position

Located in the Transport and Infrastructure Directorate, the Infrastructure Delivery branch is responsible for:

  • Delivery of the city’s capital works program, and administration of the Local Area Works (LAW) program.
  • One-stop shop for all infrastructure requirements which include, project management, engineering, drafting, design, construction, cost estimations, survey and material testing.
  • Delivery of approximately 400 projects each year, including community facilities, roads and rehab, foreshores, bridges, footpaths, landscaping, parks, stormwater and drainage.
  • Competitive executive remuneration (up to $179,437.00 depending on qualifications, experience and performance)

This Executive Coordinator will lead the Engineering Design team through sound leadership and planning. This position ensures the provision of engineering design services, for the delivery of the capital works program, using internal and external resources, in a cost effective and timely manner and in accordance with the organisational objectives of Council.

Key Deliverables of the Position:

  • Lead and influence strategic workforce planning and management to ensure the Engineering Design team services are adequately resourced to plan and respond to the growing Transport and Infrastructure Capital Program.
  • To lead and influence strategic business planning, identify improvement initiatives and effective change management to provide enhancement opportunities for the section.
  • Deliver on the Engineering Design strategy through sound application of portfolio management methodology, which includes the planning, scheduling, and resourcing of works through a value for money framework.
  • To lead and collaborate with senior leaders to assure team operational activities are commercially competitive and promote financial and business high-performance.
  • Actively develops networks across the organisation to improve and enhance relationship management.
  • Ability to develop, enhance and maintain collaboration with customers across the organisation.
  • To lead the development and management of the sections annual budget and associated operations.

About You

  • You hold a bachelor of engineering with the emphasis on civil design and construction of municipal infrastructure and registered you a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ).
  • Strong working knowledge and experience of managing a multidisciplinary engineering team.
  • Ability to develop leaders at all levels, creating and maintaining a leadership and development culture and promoting performance partnering.
  • Ability to assess and evaluate projects for timeline, financial and progress indicators, provide strategic advice and solutions to ensure program deliverability.
  • You have well-developed consultation and negotiation skills with the ability to influence project outcomes.
  • You are committed to leading by example, and have a proactive and positive attitude.
  • Demonstrated leadership and influencing skills to develop people to achieve their personal and organisational goals.
  • Ability to lead organisational change and provide continuous improvement solutions that deliver a value for money.

Please note this is an Executive Contract position and the hours of work are reflective to meet Executive duties/obligations.

About Transport and Infrastructure directorate

Transport and Infrastructure directorate is ultimately here to deliver quality infrastructure and services that align with the broader organisation vision and purpose. The directorate consists of asset custodians, service providers and business support roles that all contribute to the overall management, delivery and maintenance of quality infrastructure and services.
