We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated team member to fulfill this position in our fast-paced Salamanca office.

Ideally, you will have the following attributes:

  • Certificate 3 in Business or similar; or relevant industry experience deemed equivalent to perform the requirements of the position
  • Ability to work independently and take direction as required
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, staff and members of the public
  • Ability to work as an effective member of a team
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook is essential
  • Skills with Adobe InDesign and Photoshop
  • Experience with REX Software desirable
  • Strong computer skills and attention to detail
  • Sound judgement, decision making and problem solving skills
  • Ideal for someone with a minimum of 3 years administration experience.

To be successful in this role, your attention to detail, organisational skills and presentation must be of the highest standard.  The successful applicant will have a genuine interest in the real estate industry.

We are currently seeking a motivated and hardworking individual to join our Derwent Park based workshop administration team for a fixed term 12 month contract.  The successful applicant will assist in a range of administrative duties including:

  • Processing of workshop repair orders
  • Customer invoicing
  • Assisting with business unit procurement activities
  • Maintain job costing data and assisting preparing accounting and invoicing information
  • General administrative functions

This role will ideally suit an individual who has had some previous exposure and experience in a similar environment as well as the following skills and attributes:

  • Experience with invoice preparation, estimating or accounting and costing principles including progress claim assessments, procurement, invoicing
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Office applications especially Excel spreadsheets
  • Experience with Great Plains (or other financial software packages)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and build effective relationships with key stakeholders
  • Self-motivation, adaptability and willingness to continue learning and developing
  • A flexible, "can do" attitude
  • The ability to work independently and self-manage time and priorities as well as a capacity to work efficiently and effectively in a team environment

Total Workfit Solutions (TWS) is a Tasmanian owned and operated company, based in North Hobart.  We employ a fantastic group of Workplace Rehabilitation Consultants and provide a variety workplace rehabilitation services such as injury management/return to work, ergonomic assessments, workplace assessments, vocational assessments and redeployment of injured workers who are unable to return to their pre-injury employer.  We also offer workplace physiotherapy and pre-employment assessments.  

We provide a supportive and flexible working environment, above market/Award remuneration and have excellent staff retention.  

The role:

Due to business growth, we require assistance with our employment services (redeployment, host employment, job seeking for injured workers) and day-to-day business administration for 20-25 hours per week, Mon-Fri.  As Employment and Administration Officer, you are responsible for providing a high level of job seeking assistance for injured workers who require host employment or redeployment as directed by our Employment and Rehabilitation Consultants, as well as general administration support for the business.  

You:

You will have;

  • experience in an HR/recruitment/employment services role or within the workers compensation industry.
  • exceptional attention to detail and written communication.
  • experience in a highly administrative role.
  • a sound understanding of job seeking processes and the employment industry.
  • an outcome focused mindset.
  • a high level of administrative skills including excellent proficiency with Outlook, Word and Excel and technology.
  • the ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy.
  • a cooperative and team-based approach.

We require this role Mon-Fri, ideally commencing at 9:30am each day (however we are flexible).  This role may suit someone looking for work around school hours or who is studying or a recent graduate in a relevant field (HR, Administration or Rehabilitation Counselling).
